Who is Linda Kay Myrick . . .?
As Dr. Wayne Westcott, author of over 30 books on Senior Adult Fitness said, “Linda is the best Senior Adult Fitness Specialist I have ever met.”
When I was young my grandmother brought us up going to nursing homes during the holiday season, taking gifts and spending time cheering up people. These were usually places that were not well maintained and the residents had few or no family. My grandmother instilled in me a desire not to ever have to go to a nursing home. Through my years of college and fitness training, I have learned the best way to stay out of a nursing home, and stay in my home as long as possible, is to eat healthy and get the exercise that I need. These two factors make a tremendous difference in how we live our lives.

My career has also included in-home personal training and teaching group exercise classes.
Staying abreast of the latest research on Senior Adult Fitness, I take over 20 hours of continuing education courses every two years to better serve my clients.
My husband, a physician, and I run marathons and ½ marathons throughout the USA, hike, bike, kayak, swim, paddleboard and take weekly boot camp classes. He is 73 years of age, and I am 67 years old. So, I know what it takes to be a senior and how hard we have to work to maintain an active lifestyle. You can too!
My personal goal is to be the best I can be to better serve you!
