As a legal nurse consultant, you want to stand out from others in your field. When you offer the same services, what makes you special? What makes an attorney say, “I want to work with this person?”
It’s not low pricing. That strategy will put you in the bargain basement of the LNC world. It’s not about marketing if you’re marketing the same services as every other LNC. You need to discover what makes you unique as a practitioner and design that as your brand.
Gerry Foster, known as the Brand Evangelist, will show how you how to use the same practices that have made Amazon, Virgin Airways, Starbucks, and other companies’ leaders in their fields.
He begins with the premise that you are unique. Your unique identity doesn’t come from your degrees, your publications, or your years of practice. Your special gift is what you can offer your client that no other LNC can. Maybe it’s your attention to detail, your ability to listen to and fulfill your client’s needs.
It might be the feeling you give him or her that in the stress-filled legal world, you are reliable, you will come through. Learn what your gift is and use it to position yourself in the LNC world. Then you can market because you have something special to put in the marketplace. Then you will attract attorneys for whom price is not an issue because you make it clear that hiring services will yield rewards beyond price.
It all begins with branding. Begin now. Listen to or watch this podcast to get Gerry’s take on branding.

If you are a legal nurse consultant, you are an entrepreneur. That also means you are a salesperson. Accepting this may be your biggest challenge if you think, like most people do, that salespeople are sleazy, fast-talking charlatans. You’re a nurse; you help people. How can you sacrifice your principles for the sales?
Jason Tracey, whose business is helping people to succeed in sales, is here to tell you that you don’t have to sacrifice anything. As a nurse, you’re interested in helping to improve people’s wellbeing. You establish relationships with them; you care about them. He demonstrates that those principles of interconnection characterize the most successful salespeople.
You reinforce what you say with stories relevant to their situation. Jason says that story telling is a primary part of the most effective sales interactions. An appropriate story both shows that you understand your potential client’s situation and can encourage them in believing that you can help them succeed.
He also advises that whenever you’re coming to the end of a sales conversation to ask what the next step is. This persuades the client to make a commitment at least to further conversation.

People are drawn to Jason Tracey because he radiates authenticity, sheer energy, and an empathetic disposition. Subscribed to an “Eat Faces” mentality Jason has survived & thrived his own personal jungle, and now empowers small businesses to persevere in spite of adverse circumstances.
At the beginning of 2018 Jason founded Roar Consulting after a career in sales and leadership that spanned over two decades. Jason experienced a very rough start to his sales career, which led to financial crisis, driving him to become a student of sales & psychology by shopping competitors, studying human behavior, seeking mentorship, reading books, and investing in seminars. As a result, Jason started seeing very clearly how to Be The Difference to his clients, prospects, communities, and organizations that employed him. By applying his discoveries, he was able to create a large following of people that would repeat business, refer friends/family, and travel great lengths to work with him. As a leader Jason became known in his industry for resurrecting broken organizations, building a culture that won numerous awards, and most importantly serving people at the highest level while also at the highest revenue.
Seeing a huge problem causing a disruption to the American Dream. Jason was inspired to leave his job to start Roar Consulting with the belief sales is so easy, yet we make it so hard due to limiting belief system, poor communication, and lack of process. Today Jason works with entrepreneurs and their teams to create thriving businesses through coaching, consulting, and speaking.

As a legal nurse consultant or someone who wants to open a business as an LNC and also create a brand, you have a primary question to answer: What makes you unique? What sets you apart from other practitioners? How can you make that distinction clear so that you can attract the attorneys and cases you want? How narrow should you make your niche?
All of these questions relate to branding, and understanding this concept can help a clinical nurse with no experience in marketing make the necessary transition to working as a confident businessperson. Kim Speed, a branding and visibility expert, is here to answer those questions. People often think your brand is your logo, your business, cards, or the name of your business. These outward symbols express your brand. Kim recommends that you think of it as your reputation, i.e., what you want people to think of you.
LNCs (and other businesspeople) may hesitate to define themselves too narrowly, thinking that they’ll have too small a target range for clients. Kim believes that, while you may want to adjust the boundaries of your target audience, developing a niche that allows your expertise to shine attracts the kinds of clients you most want.
She also emphasizes that your brand is more than a collection of words. If part of your brand focuses on your reliable service, you need to put that principle into practice. You get your reports in on time; you hire carefully vetted expert witnesses, you return phone calls promptly. You put your brand into action.

Are you interested in learning to use a marketing tool that doesn’t cost a lot of money and can help you find exactly the clients you want to attract? This podcast will give you an insider’s view of LinkedIn and a step-by-step outreach plan that you can start to use today.
One of the biggest challenges a new LNC faces is learning to successfully market. When the onset of COVID reduced her clinical hours, Amy Puls, an advanced practice nurse practitioner in family medicine, had to build her LNC practice quickly. She formed a clear intention and got to work.
One of Amy’s first actions was to connect to other LNCs on Facebook and other platforms. She asked for advice, and people were eager to give it to her. Through that willingness to ask, she formed many valuable connections.
She focused her attention next on LinkedIn, which she describes as the key to her success. She emphasizes that, while this platform is cost-effective, it does take focus and work. You need to post regularly so that potential clients can get a sense of your expertise. You also need to learn to effectively learn hashtags. Most of all, you need to reach out without being annoying.
