Medical malpractice can happen to anyone, even the mother of a nursing expert witness. Barbara Levin is a registered nurse and expert witness who is employed as an orthopedic clinical scholar providing care to patients as a staff nurse in a major hospital in Boston. Barbara is also an author and an editor of books related to medical records and nursing malpractice as well as legal nurse consulting.
She is joining our program to talk about medical malpractice from two perspectives: as the daughter of a woman, Charlotte, who was affected by a medical error and as a registered nurse who is involved in day-to-day care in taking care of patients in the hospital.
