As the President of Kriger Consulting, Inc., John specializes in the health services arena, providing consulting on public speaking for improving advocacy, performance improvement, leadership, management and team development. Currently he speaks extensively on technology dependency issues related to challenges for management, anxiety and depression, violence in the home, school and workplace, and online predatory behaviors.
A faculty member at the Johnson & Johnson and Rutgers School Health Leadership Institute, he is a 25+ year faculty at the Rutgers Center for Alcohol Studies, faculty at the Center for Addiction Studies, a 25+ year adjunct instructor for the at the Rutgers University School Of Social Work Office of Continuing Education, and a former Visiting Professor at Beijing Normal University in Beijing, China.
John is the author of The Pond: A Small Book About Making Big Changes, which is a required reading for the Johnson and Johnson School Health Leadership Institute and his newest book: Turned On & Tuned Out: A Guide to Understanding Technology Dependence. He is in the process of writing his third book on the impact of technology on anxiety and depression, violence and predatory behavior.
He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Services, a Masters of Science Degree in Management and is a NJ Licensed Clinical Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Prevention Specialist.
